“Goodnight Monsters” by Suzanne Junered

I found this to be an entertaining read. Even if the twists are fairly predictable, you want to know how much further everything spirals out of control. I did find it a bit odd how “Stepford Wives” the setting is without addressing this, but perhaps that is what life is actually like in the american south.
The narrator gets more unreliable throughout the story, to the point where you can tell what she’s refusing to realise and you try to read the gaps in her portrayal of events to see how far things have gone.
