This one is a bit difficult for me to rate, as I felt it took a bit too long to really get going and I am not a fan of the style of ending, however, the build up of dread and horror was masterfully done and kept you gripped once it started. I also liked how visual it all is, which is very fitting given that the protagonist is an artist and another main character constantly wants to make movies. I would love to see an adaptation of this novel and I would happily read more from this author.
