“The Secret Attic” by Chelsea Conradt

I’m afraid this book did not hit the spot for me.
I was excited for it because the description hinted at supernatural elements in this thriller, and there were, but to get to the actually interesting parts of the plot you have to get through a lot of unnecessary repetition.
Just to mention one, every single time Addision thinks of her husband, sees her husband, or interacts with him in any way, we get an entire paragraph about how great he is, that he’s her rock and she has to be his now, that they are the best team and a perfect couple. Often even in the same words as before.
This made it very slow to get through as it felt like I was reading slightly different versions of the same chapter over and over again.
